METHANOL REFORMING HYDROGEN FUEL CELL SYSTEM
The HES-3 methanol reforming hydrogen fuel cell system is an independent power generation device that can be remotely controlled. Compared with most other power generation methods, it has the advantages of zero carbon emission, high efficiency, reliability and low cost. Its full scalability and integration provide a modular system configuration according to the power requirement , it provides a green power system for various application areas. It is an advanced and efficient turnkey power solution in the world.
The HES-3 methanol reforming hydrogen fuel cell system uses methanol on-site reforming to produce impure hydrogen as fuel. The methanol is easy to obtain and has a low cost, it also well solves the safety problems of hydrogen transportation and storage. The HES-3 fuel cell system consists of a fuel cell unit, a fuel container, and a management device integrated cabinet. The power of the conventional fuel cell unit is 5KW. Multiple fuel cells can be interconnected according to the user’s power requirement, at the same time, it can be equipped with onsite hydrogen and methanol reformers, wireless communication and remote monitoring devices as a complete and independent power system., it is applied to indoor and outdoor places of mobile equipment, communication networks, industry and other fields.
PRINCIPLE:
The HES-3 methanol reforming hydrogen fuel cell system is to reform methanol to produce impure hydrogen, which chemically reacts with oxygen to convert chemical energy into electrical energy and provides power supply to load equipment while discharging water.
The HEB-5-1 methanol reforming fuel cell unit is a modular power unit integrated by high-temperature proton exchange membrane electrode assembly (HT-MEA), bipolar plates, seal rings and other devices. Among them, "HT-MEA" is the core component because it determines the weight, power, life and total cost of methanol reforming hydrogen fuel cell. HES-3 methanol reforming hydrogen fuel cell system can be flexibly expanded according to the power size and can work in parallel with the existing on-site or external battery pack installed in the system to achieve modular plug-in simple installation.
CORE COMPONENTS:
The high temperature proton exchange membrane (HTPEM) in the high temperature proton exchange membrane electrode assembly (HT-MEA) can operate at a temperature of 120 to 180 ℃. In this temperature range, the catalyst has high activity and the HT-PEM has higher CO tolerance,Also, The reaction gas does not to be required any humidification treatment, thereby eliminates the complicated water management links in the traditional proton exchange membrane fuel cell system and fundamentally simplifies the operation and management of the fuel cell system. Secondly, proton exchange membrane material is a high temperature resistant polymer material, which is lower in cost than membrane material in traditional fuel cell units. HT-PEM that makes fuel cell systems simpler and more cost-effective.
