Patrick Terminals and OneStop have announced the launch of OptiBook, a cutting-edge container management solution integrated with the OneStop Vehicle Booking System.

OptiBook is poised to deliver a multitude of benefits to Patrick Terminals’ clients, including enhanced visibility into container status, quicker access to available containers, and an improved slot booking process.

This innovative system will facilitate more efficient truck bookings for cleared and discharged containers and ensure a transparent process for confirming these bookings, according to both companies.

OptiBook will make its debut at Patrick’s Melbourne terminal on 3 December 2023.

The OptiBook solution harnesses geofencing technology to provide real-time insights into container availability. It also integrates with the OneStop Deliver App, a platform that offers carriers real-time communication capabilities, streamlined job allocation, and the elimination of manual procedures.

According to OneStop and Patrick Terminals, transport operators can expect to receive comprehensive documentation and support to ease their transition to the new booking system.

Carriers will also receive detailed instructions for downloading and utilising the OneStop Deliver App, ensuring a smooth and efficient adoption of this game-changing technology.
